Women of Spirit
At one level it is an expression of the enjoyment of diversity I experienced at Harris-Stowe State University. At another level it is an expression of my thoughts about 2 women who came to my office to talk. They run their lives according to the guidance of their God. They do this without regard to consequences or pain trusting God to do the work through them. Trusting also His love, blessing and plan for them.

Flight to Egypt
The flight into Egypt is a biblical event described in the Gospel of Matthew (2:13), in which Joseph fled to Egypt with his wife Mary and infant son Jesus after a visit by Magi because they learn that King Herod intends to kill the infants of that area. The episode is frequently shown in art, as the final episode of the Nativity of Jesus in art, and was a common component in cycles of the Life of the Virgin as well as the Life of Christ. An oil painting I finished for Christmas at Artists of Grace
